Nicole Bach, Region 44 Council Manager, talks with 101.5 FM Huntley Community Radio about the work in McHenry County and how Birth to Five Illinois is engaging community members and connecting families with services across the Region. Leveraging her 25 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) field, Nicole also shares some of the findings in the Region 44 Early Childhood Regional Needs Assessment, reasons for the program and workforce shortages they are seeing, and next steps for ensuring families are able to receive the services and supports they say they need to support their children’s learning and development.
