We have excellent Pre-k programs in Carlinville! Several private, religious based, Head Start, and prekindergarten programs by the public school! The biggest challenge by far is child care. The main center has a lengthy waiting list and is not affordable for many families. Home-based child cares have diminished due to such outlandish requirements from DCFS (the Department of Children and Family Services).

My family definitely needs trustworthy and high-quality child care that is affordable! There is virtually NO OPTION in my town!
