I Felt Very Welcome & Heard – By Anonymous

Recently, I contacted Birth to Five Illinois: Region 26 for the second time (just for information and to know where to go for my pregnant teen daughter). I stumbled upon the office. I was greeted by Lacie, who was absolutely wonderful. She had all the answers to the questions that I asked. She gave me so many resources and was very non-judgmental. I felt very welcome and heard.

She asked questions, to make sure the resources she was giving were correct. She went over resources other people didn’t know about. I just wanted to thank the organization for having an office and people that can help with information and that were nonjudgmental. You don’t get that around here. I went to two other agencies in the area, and they did not carry the knowledge that she carried nor knew where to get the information.

Thank you to Birth to Five Illinois and especially Region 26 for the help in the community they have provided!

P.s. Took a look at the Action Plan y’all did and can’t wait to see the results!
