Grateful for The Preschool For All Program – By Single Parent of Six

The Regional Office of Education’s Preschool For All Program has been instrumental in providing quality Early Childhood Education to my daughters. Prior to COVID, four of my six daughters were enrolled in Head Start and were doing well. However, staff shortages, and Head Start being forced to hire underqualified staff, turned out to be an issue for us. I contacted the Preschool Teacher at ROE #12 and she worked magic to get my daughters into a preschool class.

The only downside to our Preschool For All Program is that it is only two and a half hours per day, which is an inconvenience for most working parents. Many families would benefit from having quality full day child care. Regardless, I will be forever grateful to our Preschool Teacher for providing my children with a safe and welcoming place to learn, play, and grow.
